Woodbridge is known statewide for its strong local school district. Amity Regional High School also serves students from nearby Orange and Bethany, and is consistently ranked one of the best high schools in Connecticut.   Elementary school students attend the highly rated Beecher Road School. Post-secondary education opportunities abound, with Yale University, Southern Connecticut State University, the University of New Haven and Quinnipiac University a short distance away.

The winding, comprehensive trail system in Woodbridge makes it easy to explore the community's natural beauty on foot.  The Woodbridge Community Gardens, maintained by members of the community and looking fabulous year-round, are a great example of how outdoor fun and neighborhood engagement come together here. 

Throughout the year, Woodbridge offers a busy schedule of special events including the very popular Fallapalooza. This month-long event features new activities each day and is a great example of what makes life in Woodbridge so special.  For indoor fun, New Haven’s museums, theaters and music venues are only minutes away by car.
