At the end of the year, it is appropriate to thank all those who helped to make our 2022 Pearce year great. We are grateful for all the clients who entrusted us with their sales, leases, and purchases. We especially appreciate all those who have used us over the years, again and again, often in multiple generations. You are the backbone of our business, and you are evidence of what we do best.
When I was recently asked what distinguished our firm from others, I said that it was the professionalism of our agents and staff. They want to do things right, and they work hard to make that happen, day in and day out. Maybe it was a stretch to state that most would go to an educational session over a party, but they certainly are proud of going the extra mile!
The second factor I mentioned was the sense of community we have as a company. We take care of our clients, and we take care of each other. As a family business, we have tried hard to keep that atmosphere alive. Perhaps this is the reason that so many of us have been with the agency for decades. Because we are so rooted in our region, we consider it a part of our job to make sure that our clients get that orientation, and that they also feel welcomed into our community.
During the pandemic, an appreciation for home, and for a place to call home, has never been more important. We all seek to feel part of something larger than ourselves, and to take strength and solace from those connections. Particularly when people are new to the area, it is in aiding them to achieve such comfort that we at Pearce perform our highest level of service.
So this letter has two target audiences. To our clients, it is a thank you for your loyalty, your trust, and your friendship. To our agents, it expresses our continuing gratitude for all that you do, and the grace and grit with which you do it.
