Barbara L. PearceChair and CEO of Pearce Real Estate, is pleased to announce that Carl Russell has secured a long-term lease for 507 Boston Post Road in Orange.

The commercial real estate transaction will bring an emergency veterinary clinic to the town, augmenting existing veterinary practices in the general area. Russell represented the owner of the free-standing, 5,250-square-foot building, which formerly housed Metro Mattress. The new tenant, VEG for Pets, formerly known as Veterinary Emergency Group, LLC., was represented by James Panzarella of Newmark in Manhattan.

VEG for Pets aims to supplement existing veterinary services throughout the region, particularly those providing standard care during regular business hours. VEG for Pets offers 24/7 emergency care for all types of pets “from fur to feathers, and shells to scales,” according to its website.

Its unique concept allows pet owners to see and participate in their pets' care “(taking) the scary out of a stressful situation.” The new Orange location, due to open sometime this summer, will add to VEG for Pets’ more than 120 locations throughout the United States and Canada.

Russell is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He has won multiple awards throughout his decades-long work in the commercial real estate profession.

Carl Russell can be reached at 203.783.9999 x102 or at [email protected].
